the only problem is that the LC's doors have an upsweep that accommodates the vent. as far as i can tell, the supra's doors do no such thing.Not necessarily, it could be built into the side skirt like the LC.
but even worse, putting a vent on the side skirt would ruin the look that the concept has established.
look at how the side of the concept is sculpted. it starts low, just behind the front wheels and flows up into the doors and into the fender. a similar shape can be seen on the test cars. although there is tons of cladding trying to hide it's shape, it correlates quite nicely with the concept. one can easily see how they keep the overall shape the concept had and get rid of the fake vent. imo the cladding on the doors and atop the rear fenders are doing its job. once we see the finished product, it should be sharper and flow nicely just like the concept, except without the fake vent.
