I also hope they learn from past mistakes. While on topic about the CT and HS; I feel they would have both done better if a non hybrid base model was offered. And a 4 cylinder turbo HS-F and CT-F would have been nice.^If they don't give the LC a new drivetrain/a more affordable entry level model; than I think sales will drop and it will be on the chopping block like with the SC430.
Is there an outward visual difference between the Specs right now?that's a Spec-A car, so that should be the turbo 4cyl unless they are still developing the lower powered 6cyl.
after a conversation I had earlier, im starting to think they bumped the 4cyl power up to 280hp +/-
I think the headlight and tail light is what we are going by right now the one with the LED is Spec BIs there an outward visual difference between the Specs right now?
right, they care about image and sure, lexus may not have the same pedigree as the germans in many people's eyes, but it still doesn't mean they need to price their products lower. if anything, keeping it higher will just make such cars like the lc more exclusive which indirectly adds to their prestige & image^People that buy 6 figure cars care about image. Lexus IMO still isn't as prestige as the Germans. i8 sales are pretty bad, a lot of them are collecting dust at the dealerships. It's a well known fact on Bimmerpost.
