Why are all the sightings only been in California? :dunno:
Toyota HQ hasn't yet fully migrated from Torrance, CA to Plano, TX, so perhaps that is why they're only in Cali. My parents live near Toyota HQ so hopefully I can get somebody to snap some shots if the Supra finds its way there!

I feel like the (blue) parts make the car look chunky... way chunkier than the proportions of the concept. Hopefully they are either 100% fake or just trying to hide something. The rear panal is likely fake, but the fender looks really chunky.. chunky enough to be hinding something, in my opinion.

Hopefully the bumpers (purple) look something like the concept, unlike these (presumed) bumper covers.

Hope those are fake side skirts as well. Hope it carries over a vent or so, ir something from the concept, when the car goes into production.

Yeah, those panels are most certainly fake.
Its pretty obviously when you see close up pics of the car.
I think this may have covered somewhere in another post on the forum.

Very interested to see what the actual lines are of the car.
Time will tell :)

As long as we avoid the "love-it-or-hate-it" Lexus front grille, Toyota actually knows how to style their upper end vehicles. I'm confident it will be pleasing to the eye.

I may be in the minority here, but that is why I hope the Supra does NOT look like this:

Masterful job of capturing the lines on the mule... but since this car looks like the mule WITH some of those fake panel bulges, I hope it does not look like that. To me it looks stubby.

Here's hoping for the lean muscular lines of the concept to show up on the production model.

Im under the impression i will look more like this.
If you consider the fake panels its wearing, I definitely don't think it will be as bulbous (for lake of better words) as the render above.

The rear almost looks bang on, in my opinion though.

If you imagine the mule with the circled parts removed (except for h/lights and front bumper) and smoothed.
I think it would come damn close to the other render above from Marco.

The rendering from Jalopnik looks awful. It does not look like a $50k+ design IMO; hell the $25k 86 looks way better than that thing. While it isn't perfect by any means, I would rather it look like the white rendering. It does look a little chubby, but I think that also has to do with the angle of render. I also think the rear of white render looks good and I hope its spot on. The front could use a little work though.

Edited: This one looks similar to Admin's rendering, but at a better angle.

Yeah, I have to agree man. I mean im not 100% set on either render.
But at the end of the day they are both renders, both have features that will no doubt be close to the finished product.
Guess we'll see soon enough

Yes neither one of them is prefect. I do like how the Jalopnik render is less chunky and more sleek. However at the same time it looks a little too bland for my taste. If we can get less bulkiness like the red one along with the curves of the white one I think we have a winner.

I don't think the white one is that bad. A much needed drop sure does help.

I like big rear ends and I cannot lie.

+1000!! just not a fan of that front end. It was ok on an SUV

Another one spotted in California.

@my.looking.glass
San Diego, California

There I was, just minding my business in downtown San Diego this AM when I saw what is rumored to be the BMW and Toyota collaboration that may be the next Supra. It was quiet, but sounded like an inline six.
