  1. Finally buying tires

PS4s or Extremecontact Sport 02 (prefer this over michelins since its cheaper and very similar in performance)
  2. WTB OEM Style Carbon Lip

I remember a thread where they got their plastic trims wrapped in carbon fibre and it actually came out really clean. https://www.supramkv.com/threads/looking-to-wrap-my-roof.20455/post-330477
  3. Supra Instrument Cluster Gear Number next to "D" missing?

Was looking for a thread exactly for this, I guess Supra's with newer firmware are out of luck. Maybe correlated with bimmercode not working for auto-stop on/off -- to have it fully off, doesn't work and bimmercode confirmed there was a change on the newer Supras. No gear number when just...
  4. Tires Sizing

I forgot who mentioned it, but I remember reading that the 285 has about the same contact patch as the 295 so performance wise better to just go with 285 + what @Danimal mentioned -- looks like 285 for the rears on stock rims is the best way to go. I'm planning to do 285/35 PS4s on the rears...
  5. Supra gift under $50

100% Gas, free gas is the best gas. Maybe a nice big drying towel -- those are great if you don't have one already.
  6. Replacement wings for 45th anniversary edition?

I'd say keep the wing tbh, I don't think any of the aftermarket wings will line up with the stock mounting points. I kinda like it personally, maybe but the money towards lowering springs/wheels or an aftermarket exhaust.
  7. Warranty issue- vibration 2021 Supra

I should've addressed the issue sooner but haven't had time to, called Toyota dealership and they keep recommending alignment/balancing and even switching to OEM winter tires lol. I feel hopeless at this point but it's such a bummer and I don't have time to pursue a fix. Might contact Toyota...
  8. Oil / Fluid Changes?

I'm doing every 8k-10k km, first oil change was at 13k km. I don't track, I use it as a daily. Oil looked normal at 13k km -- Toyota says once a year every 15k km.
  9. FS: AA Catted Downpipe

How's the switch to a catless downpipe? Does the smell bother you a lot?
  10. Buying a corporate car?

I wouldn't be that concerned with a hard break-in period to be honest -- there's many who've given it full beans way before the break-in period
  11. Not sure I like it, tint too dark?

Damn I should do this, what's the bimmercode page/advanced setting for this?
  12. Winter Is Coming

Got a set of Fast Wheels FC04 18x9 wrapped in Nexen WinGuard Sport 2 245/40R18, total cost was 1.6k CAD which was a crazy deal. Did some research and found the Nexen WinGuard Sport 2s to perform really well especially for the price, so far no complaints gripping really well on cold/dry. Will...
  13. Bad to run no centre caps?

I think the look is worth the risk haha, thank you! Just wanted to confirm. Might pop them on if I do find I'm collecting lots of water/dirt/snow in it
  14. Bad to run no centre caps?

Just put on my winter setup on the Supra, just a pretty cheap set to get me around safely in the cold in Ontario. I'm only planning to drive when the roads are nicely plowed/not snowing since the Supra is my daily, but I work from home and have other cars I can use occasionally. For anyone...
  15. Winter Storage

Put some winter tires on it and drive it in the winter hehe, planning to do that when the roads are nice and plowed but it's just cold out. Feel like early fall and late winter it's very driveable in the Greater Toronto Area since we have great plowers
  16. snow tires for supra

Squared 255s or even slimmer, I actually just got my winter set for pretty cheap. Looked at reviews and found the Nexen WinGuard Sport 2, got them in 245/40R18 $743CAD for all 4 (~543.94USD), pretty good performance from what I've found -- only gonna drive short distances when its clean/plowed...
  17. Constant Fuse in Front Passenger Area

That's so weird I saw other videos where they didn't need another fuse. Will order a new wiring kit and give it another try soon. Thanks!
  18. Constant Fuse in Front Passenger Area

I actually gave up... something with the 2023 is really weird. Bimmercode doesn't work right + fuse box doesn't like being tapped into... I just use the cigarette lighter but I tucked the wires into the panels like I would if it was hard wired. I don't really notice it. I tried 2 different...
  19. Any way to disable wireless charger pad?

No mine works perfectly fine on my 14 PM but I'd rather not have it warm/hot -- it barely charges too so why bother
  20. Any way to disable wireless charger pad?

It's a natural consequence of wireless charging for all phones, its a very inefficient way to charge your phone. The wasted energy comes off as heat which is super bad for the phone battery + performance while its hot. I opted to just get a magnetic phone mount for my phone, easier to grab/use...
