If they're going to debut anything important it'll be at TMS, not LA. First, TMS is in their backyard and manufacturers tend to go all out for a show in their own country. Second, TMS only happens once every 2 years, so this amplifies the first reason even more for Toyota. Third, TMS is a...
These codes were posted within the last few months, so not that long ago. And the J29 Supra shows up in the BMW model codes list because they're co-developing it with Toyota, so it's not as if BMW needs permission from Toyota to list the car in their own private internal document containing all...
No larger than 19's from the factory please! The Supra prototype looks like a pretty small car so 19's should fit it nicely in terms of looks. Also 19's reduce unsprung weight, and also gives better tire options and prices than 20's.
Yea I don't want to believe it or see it happen either but they've shown they're willing to make such concessions in order to lower the costs of development on their sports cars. They were willing to partner with Subaru on the 86 and that runs a Subaru engine for example.
Toyota dealerships don't have Scion pricing model so can mark up over MSRP. With such a legendary nameplate and such built up demand for its return, you can be sure we'll see examples of markups and price gouging by some dealers.
Yea you can probably place a refundable deposit and get a list...
Really hope that's not the case because if they really haven't decided on engine(s) yet then we're a lot further away from seeing the Supra in dealerships than most people thought.
Next rotary car will be the RX9 no? But yea some of us including me agree with your take on the styling. Right now it looks more like a bigger Toyota 86 than the FT-1 concept. I think whatever front end and rear end styling is hiding under the camo will make all the difference in how the car looks.
Definitely kept the overall proportions and size it looks like, which is sweet. Every damn car manufacturer has inflated their car sizes and it's annoying. Glad they kept the hood low too on the MKV. Gives better visibility IMO
Yesss finally! It's definitely sized down from the concept car just like Toyota said it'd be. Perfect size IMO. Doesn't have the exotic long look anymore but I'd rather it be compact and nimble (and hopefully light).
Spoiler doesn't seem to be as dramatic as before, but hopefully it's still...
But then this report comes out via Autoblog reporting that the engine may be a Toyota twin-turbo V6.

Interesting... if Tada said that hybrid testing is well advanced then it sounds like it's most likely going to happen. Excellent news if its true that we'll get both a V6 and an optional hybrid option. Expands the possible pool of buyers and doesn't force a hybrid power plant on petrolhead...
