I’ve got a new bronco and a roof rack on the way for the Supra, is that acceptable?

I have a 365 in a hard holster, removed the belt hook and put it between my seat and center console. It’s not a lock/release style so i can literally reach down and grab it. I think ideally I’d like to have one of those mounts that go just under the steering wheel, but haven’t made it that far yet.
