You seriously think that what is seen of the interior, almost exactly a BMW, is simply a cover up??
That they will reveal something different for the real Supra interior?
Why would they take a BMW interior and put it in this car, at this time, at this event?
If this is not an official reveal...
So, at the next car show, Toyota san will replace this old worn out camo with a brand new camo; they will likely change the wheel design a bit and give us the incredible news that the car will have between 300 and 400 hp and between 300 and 400 ft/lb and they will show us the top of the steering...
The most underwhelming official reveal of a car that fans have been salivating over and that Toyota has been promising for years!
After all this time they did not even have the decency to at least show the car without that terrible camo.
Or perhaps it looks better with the camo than without it...
Seeing that it will not be until 2019 {a 2020 model year} that one can purchase a Gazoo Supra, I went ahead and placed the order through my local Mercedes dealer for the 2018 E63s AMG. The thing is a beast and will make for a great daily. I am told to expect it by Feb of 2018.
If the Gazoo...
vb22, you may be right.
It is difficult to hear well with tire noise and other traffic.
I am so hoping:yes: for the Lexus v6TT that perhaps I am hearing things:doh:

Video starts below the short write up;
if this has been posted already, my apologies, I have not seen this particular video before.
The engine sound is very similar to the TTV6 from the new LS500, I think...
Well said Craigy.
My only hope and the light at the end of the tunnel is that Akio seems to agree with us.
A proper sports car can do wonders for the marketing of a brand in so many ways.
It can increase brand awareness, bring customers into dealerships and generate interest in other products...
I am really not comparing....just lamenting the fact that, as I said, "The Japanese on the other hand are 99.9% focused on the people hauling, commuters and boring cars".
That Toyota is profitable is not in question.
I am just venting about the fact that of their huge budget 99% is for cars...
It is a shame really.
The Germans know how to keep their fans and customers satisfied with a constant barrage of amazing cars with ever improving performance, looks, handling. Not a week goes by when one does not hear something from someone, be it Porsche, BMW or Mercedez.
The Japanese on the...
I do not understand why the BMW version is so much closer to production than the Supra:hmm:.
I hope the Supra has a few extra tricks and ponies under its belt and is a much higher performance/handling version than its German brother:slap:.
I guess a properly done car with Toyota reliability is...
The next generation Toyota Supra will be badged and sold as a Gazoo Racing model when it goes on sale at the end of 2019. That’s according to Shigeki Tomoyama, president of Gazoo Racing. Speaking with Motor1.com at a Tokyo motor show preview event, Tomoya said "the Supra will be by Gazoo."
Goes...
True, too many attractive options in the 60k range and that is why I feel the base price will have to be under 50k, and with every available option, no more than low to max mid 50s.
While Toyota is not spilling any fun info on the upcoming Supra, we can try and predict :hmm:the engine, HP, torque, weight, acceleration, transmission, Price etc. and see who comes the closest:cool:.
What say you?
Here is what I hope/predict :D
Engine: The top engine : 3.5 li V6 twin Turbo...
I just hope Toyota does not pull a Scion FRS on us, again.
The hype and expectations were so high that when the FRS finally showed up and was found to have a gutless engine:nono:, irrespective of its great handling, it was and is still perceived by many to be seriously underpowered.
I hope...
