The EPA's FuelEconomy.gov has just listed 2020 Supra 6-cylinder and it gets 24 mpg city, 31 mpg highway and 26 mpg combined!

Impressive figures considering the four-cylinder BMW Z4 only gets one more city and highway mpg and two more combined mpg, but down down 80hp / 70 lb-ft compared to the 6 cylinder Supra.

It’s almost as efficient the 86. I wonder how efficient the manual will be once it becomes available.....probably 1-2 less mpg.
Modern autos are more efficient than manuals.

Yes, they are. It just saddens me simply because there becomes no more business case to build manuals. Automatics are now more fuel efficient and easier to drive as well. Those still building manuals, they understand the joy and passion of driving stick shift.

*Still keeping my fingers crossed on a manual A90 Supra

Does anyone have any idea when the first production cars might be tested by the auto mags? Like Car and Driver, Road and Track, etc. A lot will become clearer once we see these reviews, especially re. performance, and comparisons with the competion, all of which are speculation now. I really don't care if the car has "only" 335 hp, if it does 0-60 in 4 secs and a low 12s quarter mile.

Since cars are coming off the assembly line, I'm hoping next week, or the week after.
