I should see if my local dealer wants my MKIV for the showroom (need a glass box) when this one finally shows its face...
Yeah, like I don't get the "exoticness" of the MKV Supra or JDM cars in general. They are mass produced just like any high-end domestic sports cars. For example, the Corvette (in fairly upscale trim) can be sat in, test driven, and even taken home for a few days to test drive (not sure if Chevy is still doing the last one). If the MKV Supra won't be limited production and come with a wicked setup and cost as much as a Vette, the dealers should be open to all kinds of interests in the car and make ownership a reality for everyone.

I have already written a letter to a dealership in MD and I am in touch with their sales general manager to receive the first one.
As of now, late March 2018, what I know is the usual... every dealer in US will receive one car by late 2018. They may be able to customize it before arrival and would let me know if/when.
Pricing was not discussed, however, I can say it will be lower than RC-F which is $70 and higher than Nissan 370Z which is priced at $45 for Nismo.
I can and will dig up more info soon.

Donā€™t be that guy to pay over msrp for this thing.. wait 6 months to a year and Toyota will be on their knees to get rid of them. You may even see dealer cash before year 2 starts.

lol ouch if that's true. so much for saving costs  if it does end up being that expensive then performance will be the only redeemer here and that ain't looking good either
80k-90k for a 335hp 3300lb car.. lol. I donā€™t think Toyota is that stupid. Give them some credit guys.

When you get ready to pull the trigger, let me know what dealer and we can both go get our orders in.

If I buy one itā€™ll be from Ny (just like I bought the GX460 and drove back to TX). I have no faith in Houston dealers.

That's fine, if you can get a good deal, I'll fly up as well, and do the deal. Go ahead and tell them need 2 white with red leather :D:D
