Intro:
Hey guys, my name is Matt, Im from the Orlando area. I wanted to start a thread to document my build, not just for everyone here, but for myself. Im HORRIBLE at remembering to take pics and document stuff on my cars as I do them, so I figured this would help me remember to do that. Ill be trying to keep this thread up to date as I work on the car. Any questions please let me know.

Background:
In the last few years I've owned:
- 2021 Tesla Model 3 Performance (still have, daily driver)
- 2020 BMW M340i
- 2019 Honda Civic Type R
- 2017 Ford Focus RS
- 2013 BMW 335i
- 2010 Nissan 370Z

With the exception of the Z, I haven't had a project car in a long time, which brings me to the purchase of my Zupra.

Purchase:
I bought my 21 3.0 Premium mid May, 2021. Its been a while since Ive owned a true sports car, and this thing is pretty great. I have a buddy that works in management at a local dealer group, and he was able to hook me up with a good deal on the Zupra. Its my 3rd car, so it will live in the garage most of the time, and I wasnt overly concerned with the daily livability of it. Before buying, I test drove an F-Type R (holy hell that thing is small, i just didn't fit!), a Porsche Cayman S (great chassis, boring 4 cylinder), and the Zupra. I considered others, but those 3 made the cut to actually drive. I decided on the Zupra because for the price, it simply couldn't be beat, and also because I didn't fit in the F-Type .

Plans:
My goals here are to build an overall solid street and track car. Its been nearly 15 years since I've driven on a track, but I'm 2 hours from Sebring (and have family I can stay with there) so I have no more excuses. I want something streetable, but still capable when tracked. With that in mind, Im not going too aggressive on the build (yet).

Build and Mod Info:

Ive moved all my mod lists to my website so I only have to keep one place up to date:

Wheels removed and tires dismounted, wheels dropped off at powder coater. Im impatient for my new wheels, so getting them redone satin black, and once my BC Forged show up, I can repurposed the Supra wheels on the M340i.

Beautiful job on the Z! I absolutely love 'em. I like it much better than the new 400Z coming out. I actually looked at them vs the Supra, but the Supra won out because of the stronger motor and seemed like a better platform overall for a track car. Still, something about the 370Z just gets me right in the jibbly bits.

Thanks! The 400Z (or whatever they call it) is actually on the same chassis as the 370Z (and that was the same chassis as the 350Z). So lots of parts compatability. And since the motor will be the same as the Q60, theres plenty of aftermarket support there. Theres nothing wrong with the Z's anymore, but the quality compared to the Supra is MUCH lower.

Great build! Do you know if they make this wheel in an all alcantara or leather/alcantara version?
Thanks! Not sure actually. To be honest, I only bought from them because they had wheels in stock. Im sure most of these are made in the same chinese factory. Ill likely use this one for a while then use my stock one as a core to get something better made.

Those are some nice cars you had before Matt! You must have a pretty good gauge of what makes a car fun and interesting. I'd also love to see you garage

Build looking very clean. I noticed you have the IND reflectors on order as well. I've been waiting about a month now for mine to come in and have been told that they keep getting "delayed." Have you heard anything about your set?

Thanks! I ordered a bunch of stuff from IND on 5-13, the rear reflectors and Acexxon reflectors arrived 5-27. I just got shipping notice yesterday for the front reflectors, so yeah, about one month from order to arrival.

Updated main post. IND reflectors arrived on Friday, got my wheels back from powder coating, and got some burger tuning spacers in. Went to cars and coffee and parked next to this beautiful 77' Ferrari 308 GTB. Interesting to see how much cars have grown in 45 years.
