Production Toyota Supra will be revealed in the first half of 2019 at Detroit!

Which Auto Show do you think we will see the production at?

I know... Iā€™m one of those people (at least during the week). Itā€™s not a Sienna though so things could be worse lol

I am not into sportutes or crossovers or whatever those are called, but have to admit it looks pretty nice.....

It actually looks like a real SUV for once. I'm pretty happy with that. If they could make it actually decently capable off-road like the FT-AC hinted at, that would be even better.

That's a strange price point (64k-72k). I understand they want to compete with the Cayman by offering a better car for the same price or a similar car for less money.

Since 64-72k is basically the price of a Cayman I'm assuming they've produced a better (faster) car. However, the price is a bit disappointing if true. Even if I can afford this car, I wouldn't want to. I'm a toyota shopper. My wife and I both make enough money but this price just seems excessive.

We're in a very strange economy right now and signs point to a contraction soon. Bizarre time to buy a high priced sports car.

$50-60k feels more reasonable.
55-80k with different trims invovled.

Whe.... Where's the hand brake? Really - Toyota? You are going to a switch-operated handbrake also? Shameful.

(or is this the BMW?)

It's the Bimmer, just look at how colorful the interior is!

I have not owned a car with a switched hand/parking brake, other than not good for drifting any feedback, good or bad?

I like that they auto engage and disengage in the Alfa. Other than that, they're meh.

I did the rear brakes in my buddy's S4 once and we had to use a VAGCOM controller just to fully open the rear brakes to change the pads. That was a PITA, but not too much trouble other than having to buy the expensive ass computer.

for drifting, even with the good old handbrake, drifters fitted a hydraulic ebrake , more often with its own master cylinder, lines, and calipers at the rear axle. it's not hard to do (thanks to Rhys Millen for "inventing" this :p).

my point, it doesn't matter much if it has a manual handbrake handle or some electronic button/toggle. a "hydro" is getting installed in any case:p
