So that scan is from AutoBild. Here's what they have to say about the Supra. Sounds like typical BS from the clueless media.

The article is dated back to April and the article on the last pages is from early june.

When i read both articles i see the information as fact - no guessing should, could etc.
The supra starts at 40.000€ with the explanation that it will have the I6 with over 450HP.
The newer article gives the info for the mild hybrid system with aditional 20HP.

Then again Auto Bild (Bild in general) isn't the no. 1 source for information in my opinion. In many cases there is a fast hop on rumours so that they can say "Like Bild mentioned first..."

Later in the article it is mentionend that the Supra will come with a low center of gravity (is this the right term?) at least partially...

The remaining article is about the GR racing concept and what will remain with the street car, the diffenceres to the Z4 an the dimensions from "Japan's Best Car" dated back to march.

The part with the I6 at 40.000€ (32.400€ net) is another guess from them in my opinion.

The new Z4 (4-cylinder 150HP) will start at 35.000€ (28.350€ net) acording to Auto Bild. The old Z4 sDrive35i with the I6 (306HP, manual) started at 49.000€ (41.932,77€ net, 2015) without extra equipment.
When you say the 9.000€ diffrence (to the Supra)is only for the premium brand why should I go fot it in the case I don't want explicit the convertible?
Or the step up from the base Z4 to the 6cyl. Z4 with 15.000€.
All under the assumption the prices are correct and there are no 4 cylinders for the Supra.

When I searched for the prices of the old Z4, I found an article from 2016 (Autobild) where Klaus Fröhlich (Manager for Development at BMW) said that the I6 is taboo even for "best friends". At that time Auto Bild named the Supra already a high-power hybrid with more than 400HP and an entry in the market with 36.000€.

Only Time will tell us the truth. Toyota has other plans...

Edit: some text formatting and correcting some misspellings.

No one got the point.. over 450hp. This GTR killer that Toyota has coming seems like the Loch Ness Monster...

400 hp at 41k usd?

No, not possible.

Again, if this 500 hp variant does exist, either it is in VERY limited qualities and personally ordered around 77k...or Toyota just wants to ruin the dynamics of the sport car entry by saying yep, we just went there

Hmm What AM I driving?
I'm surprised that the 4 cylinder Z4 in that article is only 150HP when the 2019 MIata is at least 181hp and cost way less. Those Miata are always a bargain for the enthusiast. Answer is always miata lol

Not to mention the fact that the Miata is around 700 lbs lighter, so with its power to weight ratio it will outrun any Z4 or Supra with less than about 230 horsepower. Hard to give credence to any claim that BMW will be producing a 150 hp version.

Someone said it earlier but that's probably 150kW, not HP.

Love to hear from a BMW engineer that Z4 is faster than M2 at the track. From what we know, Supra will be lighter, with a more track-focused suspension, this is a good sign.
