The trunk is not latched, you are trying to find things that are not there. The upper glass portion is throwing you off, once the truck is closed properly the glass sits slightly lower. There is nothing there.

Well, no one else is posting anything exciting....or cool. It’s become like a god-damn ghost town...lol. Can’t rule out anything at this point, no matter how ludicrous it seems. I am still hoping for an active rear wing.

I wonder, will there be even less activity once they reveal the car? They need to knock this out of the park to keep the excitement going.

Once the car is revealed and members start taking delivery there will be project threads, classifieds, technical threads etc... I don't think this forum will be less active by any means. You'll certainly see my MKV on here

Here too. I'm looking at the possibility of fitting an active rear spoiler.

Is the Supra going to be at the Orange County (Calif) Auto Show from October 4-7? Just drove on the 22 fwy saw a sign about the OC Auto Show.

Is anyone else surprised by the size of the vehicle?

If the supra is going to be a GT car, I wished it was a bit longer/wider

You do know it's wider than the MKIV and only like 5 inches shorter overall.

It is, if not a GT, then a sports car with the capabilities of a grand tourer.

it's a true sports car by design.

GT cars have a specific ethos: a balance of performance and luxury designed to drive long distances (or "touring"). The A90 is not specifically designed for this (not that it can't fulfill that role per se), but it's been engineered as a performance sports car from the ground up. This has been echoed by Tada himself FYI.
