Pull-up/push-down lock knob.

Not even my 1991 Nissan 300ZX has this god-awful feature to it. I only ever see this on cheap cars nowadays (Challengers, Mini's, etc...). Really gives the car a low-quality aura.
It's a BMW Z3/4 thing. Every generation has had them, so clearly the Bavarian side won that discussion. Retro gone wrong IMO.

Regarding the alternate color interiors, doubtful. Maybe a different seat and inset color will happen, you can get the new Camry with a pretty sweet red leather interior. But the days of offering completely different multiple color interiors on low volume models are over, and I'm cool with that. I don't know how Toyota made money operating like that back then. The mk2 literally had 4 completely different color interiors, where every single piece was available in 4 tones, AND every color could be had in cloth or leather with completely different side panels too. It was all so stupid, because 20+ years later, everyone just wanted the black interior. The best decision Toyota made on the MK4 was giving it essentially 1 color with, 1 alternate seat and carpet color here (plus a cloth alternate).

Has their been any comments in regards to the driving position? This is a major feature for me. I hate sitting high in a sports car. Few cars seem to really nail this. Based on the pictures, the seat looks very low, which is excellent. Just wondering if any reviewers have mentioned the driving position, I haven't see any

Supras have always had nice interiors, I dont see how a Japanese company could do it for $20k less. Perhaps your anger is directed else where
Supras haven't traditionally had nice interiors. Specifically the MK4 was a clusterfuck of randomly placed buttons and knobs and a very boring passenger view..

So.. that last video shows the light switch panel is a direct take off from the Z4. Very unlike Toyota to not have the light switches on the stalk.

Very much disagree. But to each his own.

Can you please give me an example of the cluster fuck you speak of in the MK4 dash?

Agreed. That Supra MK4 dash was a masterclass IMO. Best interior of its time (in the same class, and ofcourse in my opinion).

I think toyota cheaped out a bit on the plastic trim in the A80, but design wise I always felt it was gorgeous. It wasn't great for the passenger because the car was always touted as driver centric, hence cockpit with all gauges and meters facing the driver.

If I was going to call out anything, it would be the door panel design (or lack thereof). Even after owning the car, those were always meh.

I am with you on this one Yogi. I have never once had someone say its a clusterfuck or boring. But instead they all love how the dash is Driver focused and everything is within a short reach and very ergonomic...

There's quite a bit going on here:

The plastic was always the biggest drawback for me though. I think the RX7, 300ZX, and NSX all had better looking interiors, but I do like some aspects of the Supra.
