I always felt weird riding passenger in the Z32 and NSX because they have those sloping dashes... of course, the driver seat is the cure haha.
Funny you mention this....I know exactly what you mean. When someone drives my Z32, and I sit passenger I feel unsafe. I know that sounds weird, but the dash is so low before it curves to clear your legs, I feel like I would seriously get injured in an accident as a passenger. Maybe it's all in my head...but, I sort of get what you mean by it's weird riding passenger in those cars.

The MKIV Supra's interior is a driver-focused interior. The passenger is just that....a passenger, just there for the ride not to touch buttons and play with controls. The MKIV's "driver selfish" interior layout is fantastic in my opinion, it makes the driver feel more like a pilot. Personally, I would love to see a similar setup in the new Supra, or any other car at that....but, I believe nowadays because of safety regulations and crash test standards, those kind of interior layouts are not as easy to engineer to be compliant as they use to be in the 90's.

Also, I CAN'T STAND IT when people mess with my radio or climate control dials...one huge plus of the MKIV's dash layout. :D
Have to agree here, my very first car was a 1991 Eagle Talon, TERRIBLE quality plastics but the layout of it was actually great for this same reason, everything was very driver focused and within quick reach from the shifter.

Behind the FT1, maybe a teaser of the production steering wheel? :dunno:
