Yup, and most likely electric water pump? No?
diagrams show electric pump
The water pump will be the same as the current B58 cooling unit, which is a mechanical water pump assembly as well as an auxiliary electric pump specifically for the turbo.

The pump assembly can be seen here on the driver's side of the motor, attached to the block:

Also, that oil filter looks like it'll be a right PITA to change. Can only imagine how little space there is once the manifold is on. Also, the diagrams confirm there is no D4S, just the standard BMW DI system.

implementation was mentioned back when I was on that side (when they spoke about making changes to the head), but then they never mentioned it again after that. unfortunate, as D-4S is a great system for several reasons...

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the companys (HKS, Greddy etc) that are already getting their hands on 3D models or possibly even an actual car have begun the leg work to put a 2JZ in. Its only a matter of time.

Yep, the memorable MKV’s won’t be the modified B58 cars, they will be the 2JZ swapped ones. Top Secret will be the first to do this....ask me how I know.:D

Kinda bummed out with these news. I have a M235i with FBO at about 400 hp using the predecessor N55 engine. The B58 in the newer M240i has 360 hp with water injection. Currently not too tuner friendly it seems. Also, the interior looks alot like that of my car. My guess is that it is just a 2 series/Z4 BMW with Toyota badges. Might make sense, when I was in Nuerburgring this summer, the BMW test facility had a Z4, a Supra, and a M2 all with test camo which they were testing the following day.

Top secret is not the only hks seems visibly actively working on the 2jz ;)
“Smokey” Nagata and Tetsuya Tada like to “hang out” alot outside of work....and from time to time, Nagata asks Tada for some “off road use” custom parts to be made.

So, just to be clear...the one turbo we see in the diagram has two single-port runners??? So, a twin turbo setup will have four total runners??? Does this mean the head will have four ports for exhaust and six ports for intake??? No six port collector??? Am I not seeing something else here???

Wait....WHAT!?!?! So, basically a "semi-siamese" cylinder head??? OMG....this is gonna be crazy, and not necessarily in a good way.

This is a big deal for tuners....a VERY big deal.
