Let's talk about Colors

Atacama Yellow from the Z4 35is was a very nice non-metallic yellow. A brighter version of Dakar Yellow.

Assuming that the diffusers/splitters on the Supra are gonna be painted black, Atacama Yellow is gonna be DOPE. Especially with the blacked out A-pillar

Does anyone have experience ordering a custom color from bmw or other brand? Isn’t it usually $5k or so extra?

I really hope that custom colour ordering is something a person can do. I would absolutely love to have SDR on a mk5

Semi-individual (TB, AB, CQ, etc...) ~$2k
Individual (SMB, Ferrari Red, LSB, etc..) ~$5k
Individual w/ research (something BMW has never done) $7k+
Super-special individual (Pure Metal Silver, others) $10k+

Pricing can vary by country.

I know the M2 cannot be ordered in Individual colors because where it is built(Leipzig?) isn't setup for colors other than whats in the standard lineup. Not sure if Magna Steyr(where they will build the Z4/Supra) is setup for doing individual colors or not.

Isn’t the Austria plant technically not a bmw plant? What I mean is the plant builds Mercedes and other vehicles as well? Not 100 percent sure but that’s what I am thinking.

Steyr builds the 5series and as far as I know you can order it with the individual package, so steyr should be set up to do different colors.

I gotta say though, Karmesian Red doesn't look impressive at all. I am surprised that Toyota went with this colour since they were marketing the FT-1 in red and the Toyota colour is red. Like you gotta have a nice red on the Supra. Maybe I am seeing this in the wrong light, but I hope the red comes out better than the below.

Blue stone metallic and atacama yellow look ok. All the rest are very lack luster

Karmesian Red is a pretty bland color from BMW and not the most appealing red...would've hoped for a red that's as intense as that offered by Mazda!
Would have been nice to see some BMW colors including Sakhir Orange and Jerez Black on the palate...hope Individual color customization will be offered

They could have offered imola red or Melbourne, I like those shades better or even hellrot.

This makes sense, Its all about where its being manufactured and we already know that. So heres to hoping we can order custom! because I straight up will pay that fee for my own color

I just wish they announce the colour messing metallic for the Supra. The E46 M3 in messing metallic is a true sight to behold
