yep, those other packages add weight too, as does the standard safety stuff...

but yeah, the base without driver assist is going to weigh quite a bit less.

Looks like I read wrong or they corrected the article as it now says 1500 Launch Editions for the U.S., which matches what I was told before (they said around 2k cars for US/Canada).

Not sure what's going on with only 90 Launch Editions for EU though.

Notice at 5:50 the cover only on the left front air-mesh. Is that a cover for a Air intake ????

Toyota please give us an manual car. Thats the real deal.........

Car looks great in matte grey. Cant wait to see different front bumper options and lowering kits though.

I have some official information from my local dealer now. There are actually only 90 Supras Launch Edition, only 24 for Germany.

yeah, I asked and there will be 900 cars available, but I guess only the first 90 people divided across the regions will receive the Launch Edition.

Itā€™s confirmed, only 90 Launch Edition Models will be sold. I will ask my local dealer tomorrow whatā€™s the rules to get one. If still available, I will order one. Otherwise Iā€™ll keep my money for one more year, waiting for personal driving expressions of both, the Supra and the Z4. Because the only reason I registered for Club 900 was to get something special. If only those 90 are special and none is left over, it doesnā€™t make sense to me buying a car without driving it in advance.

An email from Toyota this evening says the first 24 to place an order (open tomorrow at 12 noon) get the special one. So even if you were first to reserve it sounds (unless youā€™re an irritating youtuber) that itā€™s still down to luck/ good dealer tomorrow
