If this will be the price, I believe the 59.9k for the 6-cylinder will be the track trim, and it would be a tough sell unless it will have something special under the cards. Earlier rumors suggest that there will be a base trim with 6-cylinder on offer starting at 52k. That sounds just about right for those who want to mod their Supra. Also that the Supra is rumored to have just around 340hp, which is around 40hp less than the Z4.

I view it as BMW type approach, I still much higher water to the M3 versus a base 3-series, hoping the Supra strategy pans out the same way

It varies so widely that there's not even a ballpark figure. No idea on sales either, but as is likely self evident there won't be much margin.

Cars like the Camry are what carry the entire company, and while they still have to meet cost targets, they generally have a lot of room to play with due to economy of scale.

@A70TTR is it concerning that people still think Toyota would use an untouched B58 on the Supra?

Even Moto-san referred to it as a B58C the other day, but who knows what that means. RealOEM lists B58C for the X5 too (non G series"

Facelift standard RC-F now does 4.2.

Funny how some of the articles are quoting 3.96 for Track Edition, like that 0.06 makes a difference.
