Tada already said in an interview that he could drop 100lbs easily, likely a little more. Keep that in mind going forward.

It will definitely be lighter, which is even more important now, and it will also be getting a fairly significant power bump.

I’m looking forward to it! Lighter is always better. And we don’t need heavy 12-way electric and heated seats.

I still hope there is a CGI block, Yamaha 6-port head and a 6-speed manual on the GRMN.

And just for the time being I hope a manual gets released for the regular GR Supras for model year 2021.

425HP and 56.1kgm (406ft.lbs TQ) are identical to the M4 F82 specs... Doesn't seem Toyota was involved at all in that case. However, the M4 does have a 6 speed manual transmission option available.

I just hope Toyota didn't keep the 380hp b58 version for the GRMN because that is going to be for laughs

The easiest, quickest, and probably most cost effective way is to indeed keep the b58 and just have it unleash the same 380hp the US m40i has and focus on weight reduction and aero. Who knows though.....it has to be something more different then that to make PerformanceSound change his tune though

I think change his tune is an understatement

EDIT: On another note, I recall saying something about a 425 HP edition car with it roughly at 3000 lbs. I would love to speak it into existence.

@A70TTR I'm in the minority that actually would want an auto for the GRMN model. Do you have inclination to believe that Toyota would make both auto and manual trans for the GRMN?
