Yeah I think the reserve is there until end of March at which point it will automatically be refunded. The only rush was to get the A90 Edition so now they are sold out might as well wait for more info.

Just saw on the website now that reservations are closed. Not sure if that means all 300 are now spoken for, or there have now been 300 reservation fees paid and just waiting to confirm the orders. I'd have thought the latter. as you can now join the waiting list so if people drop out then the next person on the list will get the chance.

So lame we have to deal with dealers in the US. Does the ordering page show color mockups of the car? Would love to see a screen of the yellow.

Good, as this was the reply today from dealer. I really don’t want to order without seeing some pics of the colours.
“You have to put the registration deposit down to build the full specifications of the cars. They are not releasing the information fully until the 300 spaces are sold and the car is no longer available in 2019.”

It’s only the top spec £54k car available to order, the A90 edition already sold the 24.

Just had the call from my local Toyota dealer;
- Q2 Customer experience events will be rolled out for customers (track day with new Supra)
- Q3 "centralised" test drive of the new car on the road
- Q4 Sept onwards for deliveries

When do you need to confirm orders etc - as in last day to pull deposit??
I've tentatively clicked metallic white in the meantime
Will see about the test drive and what reviews for the car are like before committing totally.

IIRC you have a week to commit after the test drive, then you have two weeks to change your mind.When do you need to confirm orders etc - as in last day to pull deposit??

Thanks for that - ive had no contact from my dealer, though based on my experience of when i went in there to look for a car for my partner, im surprised they manage to open the doors each morning.
