I don't find the interior impressive at all for that price point.

The refresh for the IS happened a few years ago. The 3IS is pretty old and fundamentally the chassis and engine dates back to the 2IS. We will see a 4IS next year.Do you know if this will be a next generation platform update or just a refresh update? Also, are you at liberty to say anything about possible new engine(s) if this is a next generation platform update? Maybe a 3.0 v6 twin scroll turbo or twin turbos?
It took me a while to warm up to my RC but now I have 9 months left and I really don't want to give it back. This same car with 200 less pounds and I'll probably admire the MKV from afar. And I must be the only one who likes the touch temperature controls. The touch light controls though, that's another story.there are a lot of replacements coming in the 2020-2022 timeframe... they let too many of the platforms go for too long and now it's a game of catch up (speaking TMG at large).
the next gen F series vehicles, including the new ones, are so much better IMO.
I know they're not identical frame and body wise but they share everything else. 3UR 5.7L V8, AB60 6 speed transmission, Same transfer case (Sequoia is actually superior), same front and rear diff, same axle setup, same bolt pattern, same control arms and the best part it's 20-30K cheaper than the LC/LX with more room inside. Cargo space is limited though so not much difference in the end if you want to seat 8 people. But if Toyota decided to extend an SUV it would be the Sequoia not the Land Cruiser. That Sequoia is NOT at all the extended version of the Landcruiser. Two totally different trucks. Landcruiser platform is only shared with the LX570 and the Sequoia is based off of the Tundra platform and either way, it's not stretched like I was talking about like how a Suburban is the stretched version of the Tahoe.
Probably the yaris/vitz.That ''thing'' on the right looks like wrc inspired,4wd maybe?
Its crazy how the hood vents and different bumper do wonders for the aesthetics of the car. It really needs the additional vents to balance out the busy side profile of the car. And anything is better than the stock bumper IMOFirst pic of the GRMN??
