Another one of our favorite youtubers. I bet he feels stupid now because in the past he said there was no way the 6 cylinder Supra would be less than $60k...

i recall that video. his exact words were "there is no way BMW would allow Toyota to undercut them". $63.7k - $49.9k = $13.8k. that's a steep price gap. obviously he was misformed, but at least he's not a dick like other youtubers.

I guess our friends at Porsche have become a little wary of the new competition...rumors of a standard Inline-6 is to be offered between the 4-cyl 718 and upcoming GT4...however the price tag will still be greater than that of the A90.

If Porsche finds reason enough to coincidentally upgrade their lineup like this, we A90 followers should be happy that Toyota had legitimately brought some competition to their door...and that this has been realized by Porsche!

Well, no one has liked the sound of their 4. All of the reviews on the new Cayman/Boxster lament on the loss of the 6 (boxer) so not too surprising they would switch back, the extra competition may have pushed them over the edge though.

I also do not like that black trim running across the rear bumper in between the tail lights on the 718. Looks tacky IMO. Prefer the much cleaner look of the 981. And no that's not because I have a 981. Obviously the 718 is a "better" car than a 981.
