Those and CCW's too.

 HRE's are local to me (San Diego) and it's funny when people see their prices for the first time. This is a 50K car and these are high quality wheels. These are not fake knockoff China made wheels.

Ha! I'm use to buying Jeep Wrangler aftermarket wheels.
I honestly did not know what to expect on price.
I still could not shell out that kind of coin for wheels. Even though they look amazing!

 You're def in for a treat when it comes to sports car wheels. You can kiss the $100 Pro Comp wheels out the door. lol

As much as I like HRE's, you can get a set of BBS, Volks, Work, Rays wheels for a lot less then HRE's.

Anything truly forged will run in the 1800-2400 per wheel range though. HRE is very much alive and active in the BMW and euro scene.

Hardly. My "Truley forged" Weds were 1600 new... for all 4. PS HREs are not all truly forged. They are 3 piece wheels with spun aluminum hoops pressed over a die like most 3 piece wheels are made. I can get the same thing locally from Kodiak Wheels for about 2000 to 2500 a set (size dependent of course). Works in CA too. In the early 2000s a 17 inch HRE was about 700 bucks, which was considered very expensive even then. They have always catered to high end markets but that doesn't mean the quality of their product is that much better then their competitors.

Yep, the only reason the MKIV can look decent is with wheels and a drop, and yet, all these people criticize the MKV solely on stock looks. Apples to oranges. Make up, no make up.
always thought the mkv sat a bit high. seeing it lowered a bit confirms this, makes a huge dif

PUBLIC FINALLY GETS A CHANCE TO GET UP CLOSE TO A SUPRA AT DAYTONA
Early production model was among the Toyota vehicles being displayed on Daytona’s midway

Scattered among the many displays crowding the huge expanse of Daytona International Speedway in the week leading up to NASCAR’s Daytona 500 is one from Toyota. And among all the cars they have on display one was surprisingly not getting much attention Saturday morning. A 2020 Supra, clad in red and stickered up like a pace car, drew a few gawkers. To be fair perhaps it was lost among the crowd; fans busy vying for free t-shirts and other swag. But for those who did notice it, there was quite a buzz.

The much anticipated Supra made its debut a few weeks ago at the Detroit Auto Show. It was also seen at Barrett-Jackson when the first production model was sold for charity shortly after. Saturday, the new NASCAR Xfinity version made its on-track debut and finished third in its first race.

This week an early production model was among the Toyota vehicles being displayed on Daytona’s midway.

“This is an early prototype, a similar one to the one that was at Barrett Jackson,” Ed Laukes group VP of marketing at Toyota said.

The new models won’t be in showrooms until late March. But for those fans lucky enough to be at Daytona this week the new Supra could be seen up close and in person for the first time to the general public.

“We think we're drawing a lot of attention,” Laukes said. “It’s been 22 years since we've had Supra, and people have been asking for Supra to come back, and we worked really hard to get it back, and now it's back.”

While there may not have been a huge crowd around it prior to the Xfinity race Saturday, those who did look the Supra over seemed genuinely excited to finally see in person one of the most iconic sports cars in history as it gets one step closer to returning to showrooms.

I think I'm the only one on here who likes the two-toned wheels. I prefer them to the all-black, by far. The black, making an all red and black car, is has too few contrasts. I love the machine-look touches that bare metal gives a car.
