Just the thought of a 4 banger "Supra"...  :nono: :mad:o_O:puke:

What's next? A one rotor RX9.
"But the Supra can't get a TT V6 or anything else, it must have a straight 6!" - Toyota, probably

I know, I've ran out of food to throw up since Jan.

Japan did themselves dirty but at least they did us the favor by not bringing it to the U.S.

It's really funny how US people laugh about the 4banger but for the rest of the world is ideal!Like a more powerful GT86,low tax,low mpg, easily tune to 330hp to match the 6cylinder but 80kg lighter,a lot cheaper ,i don't know about the brakes though! It's the perfect car everybody desired, you just don't like that it is called a Supra

I honestly don't mind it. If selling a 4 cylinder would allow this car to be successful and later on fund a GRMN track killer car, I'm all for it! There's a reason that Mustangs and Camaros offer low trims....gotta appeal to everybody and make as much money from the chassis to fund the fun stuff that doesn't make the company nearly as much money.

It makes less HP then the 86 though. I don't laugh at 4 bangers since I had a built GSR back in the days. Shoot, even a 4cyl turbo engines are awesome. I just don't expect to pay a premium for one.

The 20i version makes less than the 86 but the 30i makes ~250hp. They are both B48s

Yeah, at least we aren't getting it. I do understand why they did it for Japan and EU tho.

We used to call that... a Celica. And they were pretty awesome. And the Supra came from the Celica.
You don't say.. They should have called the 4 banger version a Celica.
