He mentioned the biggest issue is the wiring harness. I doubt there are any BMW electronics in both of those 2JZ swaps since both cars are completely gutted.
I can't imagine how difficult this will be. It's already hard enough to do in a 20ish year old E46, much less a brand new car. I wonder if it will even possible to get things like the dash or the air conditioning to work.

How though? In a gutted racecar with an aftermarket EMS and a racepack or similar dash it really is cake in the grand scheme of things.

As @A70TTR said though, in a street car with everything functioning.... good Lord, I can see a job like that taking literal months to get done.

**disclaimer** I didn't watch a second of the video. lol

Exactly, it’s a drift car, not a street car. Toyota harness, OEM or aftermarket to a stand alone. He wouldn’t need any of the creature comforts.

Well I was thinking more along the lines of building a harness, but yeah, of course those can be bought as well.
Built or bought, you wouldn't need any of the ultrasonic sensors, PDC sensors, parking sensors, rearview camera, three surround-view cameras, full-range radar, short-range radars and an interior camera that BMW's have.
