Anyone know why they decided to make this part black instead of continuing the carbon fiber from the console?

More importantly, who will be the first company to make this aftermarket part and can I get royalties by way of free sample? :p

I don't think that this is a part that you could easily make in carbon fiber.

Actually would be very easy to mold that piece- carbon fiber is able to be molded into pretty much any shape

Yea, but that's a Ferrari, so I don't know if they would be willing to do that for a Toyota.

It seems like a piece that could be relatively easily made in carbon. Who knows why they didn't.

Did anyone ever end up producing this part?

I haven't seen it. The best parts I've seen so far are from NVSpecialities. I have some of their stuff, some Rexpeed and OLM. NVS is the best so far in my opinion.

I got the OLM from FTSpeed. In all honesty I should've returned it. I bought the CF door window garnish. It had a small blemish in the weave that wasn't too noticeable and a small crack. My OCD now focuses on it...lol. Most people probably wouldn't notice but the part from NVS looks perfect so that's what I'm comparing it to. The part from OLM says GT-Axis on the back of it so I've been trying to find the original manufacturer.
