Wouldn't be surprised if that's an alternative option down the line.Only if the side door garnish was paint matched.........sigh
TRD has always been overpriced. The MKIV TRD Full Body Kit back in the late 90's was already $10-15K and all the pieces was NOT Carbon Fiber. $23K for parts that does NOT improve performance and looks similar to Stock IMHO is NOT worth it!wow, those prices..... holy hell
Front lip: $2900
Sideskirt (qty 1): $3180 x 2 = $6360
Rear valence (qty 1): $1453 x 2 = $2906
Door panel trim: $3361
Spoiler: $1817
Wheels: $5815
Wheel locks: $363
That's $23,522...
Dayummm...that looks sexy af!
I'm still baffled by how they think that's anywhere near reasonable, especially for a a car that goes for $50k. Race grade carbon, which Toyota produces in house, is expensive but this is extreme.
I don't know who/how in the right state of mind decided on the pricing for these pieces but it's ridiculous. If these prices are insane, I don't even want to know how much a TRD widebody kit would be.This is way more ridiculous than BMW tax. M performance carbon bumper lip for an M4 is only $1,300. They are trying to charge $1600 more than BMW would for a lip. WTF are they on?
You're missing the best part, Toyota is going to have these items already included on the Supra, so that's the dealer markup outside of the 1500 launch edition supras.I don't know who/how in the right state of mind decided on the pricing for these pieces but it's ridiculous. Toyota already managed to piss off many with this car. I guess there's still more room on the couch. You're missing the best part, Toyota is going to have these items already included on the Supra, so that's the dealer markup outside of the 1500 launch edition supras.
