Those carbon mirror covers were supposed to be a relatively cheap dealer option (they're also not made by Toyota). Now they want $1000 for them? Interesting.

I would justify these prices if the new Supra was based on the Lexus LC500 with a V6 3.0 twin turbo and 500hp+...
Toyota in their attempt to revive TRD and upmarket it, they have gone too far and i am afraid this will have the opposite effects....

They would sell a handful or two of those over here. Just take a 10 minute drive around town and you'll find +130k LX570s and +200k G wagons on every intersection. To be one of the few to own an MKV let alone a TRD one for 100k is pocket change prestige.

wow, those prices..... holy hell

Front lip: $2900
Sideskirt (qty 1): $3180 x 2 = $6360
Rear valence (qty 1): $1453 x 2 = $2906
Door panel trim: $3361
Spoiler: $1817
Wheels: $5815
Wheel locks: $363

That's $23,522...
LOL I was planning on adding this onto my A90, but now I think I will definitely go aftermarket like APR or something like that. For this price, I personally think that is way way too much for just carbon fiber aero and a set of wheels.

Since when did Lexus have a LC500 with a 3.0 V6? Or even a 3.0 motor for the matter? And one with 500 hp+? Even if it happened almost no way itā€™ll be close to that hp figure, only two current Japanese cars that have 500+, the NSX and GTR, and both cost over 100k.

If it was European or American I can see them making that much hp, Japanese cars in general, have never really been about lots of hp.

Toyota needs to make a big goofy TRD wing. This kit is pricey as hell. Would expect some performance upgrades for that kind of money.

Iā€™m not a big fan of the ā€œend platesā€ on the corners of the stock Supra, so I wouldnā€™t want to make them larger like this kit does.

However, the door pieces could look good if they were completely painted to match. The contrasting carbon on the doors (and spoiler) is not my cup of tea.

That's nice an all but I wanna see some actual functional parts. We need an aftermarket (or TRD) front bumpers that have functional openings, functional rear diffusers which have a panel going all the way to the differential with aggressive fins directing airflow, some flat body underpanels with the side skirts, and functional hoods, and GT wings providing actual downforce. This TRD kit is just a simple BMW design like approach which BMW does on their own cars with their trunk lip spoilers, front lips and so called "diffusers".

Can't wait to see what Voltex, C-West, APR, and Varis come up with on the car.
