Take a look at the interior of the 2020 Supra

How many stars would you give Toyota on the interior? (1 being lowest & 5 being highest.)

While the shifter is different from the Z4, it's exactly the same as the one in my fathers 2014 650i. Atleast, from all the pictures, it looks the same

Came across this interesting MKIV-style MKV interior render...from the thought of the tightness of the cabin, there may have been a possibility of the driver being almost too enclosed if they went with the throwback styling. Just my thoughts, but the linear styling Toyota went with probably lended to some more openness and overall comfort.

Ok, was adding the stick necessary??

"Interesting reworking of the A90 Supra interior. I respect @j.b.cars work but can we let the past go? I realize the C7 Corvette tried this too. It’s an archaic styling choice imho. The 90s is long gone. Canted does not automatically mean better. Your thoughts?"

Sure. And why not? It's nice to see what this car would look like with a stick shift since that isn't about interior design choices but rather a driver interface function that can exist in any car's interior.

Other than that the render overall does not work well. I understand what the artist was trying to do but something was lost in translation trying to meld the A80's dash design with the already now familiar shape of the A90's dash.

That render looks more like a (poorly done) attempt at melding a C4 Corvette dash. It looks funky in part because it doesn't jive at all with the untouched passenger side. FWIW, the C7's interior is by far the best modern representation of the drive-centric fighter jet cockpit, IMO.

Is that RevMatch dude here on this forum? I like his enthusiasm and coverage with the MKV. However, I disagree with his comment. The 90's is def long gone but the driver centric dash has a very strong lineage to racing and is still used today.

Anyone have interior shots of RHD version?

Just wanting to know if the entire interior is mirrored or if the centre console is the same between LHD and RHD.

Last time i was in the US a drove a corolla (rental) that was smaller on the drivers side than the passenger side. When i came back to Oz i noticed over here the dimensions stayed the same so the driver got the larger area in the car. (Assuming this is due to Japan being the RHD market dictating design).

Basically the stand out section of the console (circled) seems like if the wheel was on the other side it would be more of a driver based cockpit as was the MKIV.

Interesting - thanks everyone, i wonder if a USDM console would fit the rest of the ADM dash...
