AZ dealers are straight colluding, they told me so. Shameful for a penske dealer. They told me they are working with other toyota dealers in the state to decide on markup. Ridiculous

That is both sad and illegal to work with other dealers to price fix. Toyota Corporate should step in. Amazing what some dealers will do.

Yuuup. Toyota why have you made it so hard to get a Supra without a black interior??? :nono:
Funny, I have been told with my UK launch edition, I'm not allowed the red interior. But in the US it seems default? Really not sure what is going on here.

Sad in this modern age, this business has not been disrupted. I really wish they would of done a online pre order.

Also sad they are apparently receiving a larger allotment than any other dealer in AZ, and are not even aware of pricing ‍♂

I love the line"no pricing has been available by the factory". Really?? Some of these people are clueless.

Posted this in the sticky, but been having some frustration with SoCal dealers. All dealers I’ve called in SoCal with the exception of longo has a markup. And because of that fact, Longos waitlist is 140 people long...

Here are the other dealers I’ve called:
Austin Toyota San Diego - will have markup.
Mossy Toyota San Diego - will have markup.
Toyota Carlsbad - will have markup.
Toyota of Orange - will have markup.
Toyota of Culver City - will have markup. Said they’d be getting supras in August/September
Toyota of Santa Monica - will have markup.
Toyota of Downtown LA - will have markup.
Toyota of Glendale - will have markup. They are getting 1 launch edition in June/July and will be charging 25k over sticker. This spot is open for whoever wants to drop the cash for it though

Two things. One, should look more inland or north of LA. Two, I assume not everyone on these lists is very serious and I also assume there are many people on separate lists, so don’t assume the waitlist numbers are truly so high.

Talked to one of the salesmen yesterday, and he says it's likely they'll get in 2, due to the size of the dealership.

Still no actual information

Just spoke to Jerry's Toyota in Baltimore. Salesman claims they're getting it end of June. He said ADM of "20k so 85-90k" I said thanks.

Heritage Toyota says their Launch edition is spoken for. They expect to get regular models about a month after but did not suggest to me that they were doing any ADM. He said the launch edition was 55k and premium "would be less."

Well 20K markup would be $75K not $85-90K -- but also that places the car into an M4 w/ some options, an Afla Romeo Giulia QF, Audi RS5 Coupe, or AMG C63S.

I’m not sure if this was posted here, but brother @Guff posted this in another thread:

“Okay, so here's some clarification about the July 22nd date. That is the "official day cars will be in dealerships". So people who ordered a Launch Edition should be able to pick up their car on July 22nd, assuming their dealer plays ball and doesn't try to hold the car, or if the car was delivered late.

So expect to see Supras on the streets by the end of July.”

Those were his words not mine.

Also got a callback from another dealership who said their LE was sold but dont be surprised to see 10k markup from other dealerships.
