Guff put out a good review or any other review will talk about how great the car is chassis and handling wise
Ok, yes I've watched those. No one is arguing that its not a great chassis, but its a BMW chassis. Just like the majority of components in the rest of the car. Not my cup of tea for a Toyota. Certainly not the one named Supra.

It seems like we are going around in circles here with some not willing to accept others point of view or just being plain ignorant. Lets just end this discussion here. Have fun ladies

This isn't a circular conversation. You asked a question and I answered. It being a 'BMW chassis' is irrelevant

I truly donā€™t understand this?!? Look, there are cars I donā€™t like...mustangs, camaros, and vettes....since I donā€™t like them, I simply donā€™t go on their forums....

Obviously, this car isnā€™t up to your standards, ok then, move along. You arenā€™t gonna get much traction in a MKV forum, ripping on the car and insulting those who like it.

ā€œUs ladiesā€ will have fun. As for myself, I am on here because I love cars and am excited for the new Supra. If you arenā€™t, great, I am sure there are plenty of other forums for you to join.

^^^^Good points. I wish some things were different about the car but I don't hate it or love it. I didn't take my dislikes as personal as many others have. I found myself defending the car somewhat in some cases, I'm excited to see how it does with sales, aftermarket, power etc...If I truly hated it I wouldn't have joined these forums just to make negative posts about the car and those who are fans or plan to buy one. That can be done on SF where there's a dedicated sub-forum for the MKV and on tons of FB groups.

Why do people keep saying its a BMW chassis? It was co-developed by both Toyota and BMW. There was no G29 Z4 already in the works.
QFT.

to be 100% accurate, the platform was co-developed by BMW and Toyota. The Body-in-whites is different, and then the same supply chain was used for the final assembly (hence the "BMW logos" and the interior bits....etc)

i bet there are more similarities between: an 86 and a WRX (on which the 86 was developed), vs, the Supra/Z4 and any other BMW.
