I've been reading up on Apple CarPlay and oh boy
1) it's IPhone centric(IPhone 5 and higher)
1a( IPod touch only works with music
2)it only uses data while driving
3)it can be controlled with the knobs that control the the giant screen
3a)Siri can be activated with the steering wheel

As an Android user this concerns me. I need to read up more to see just what this means.

I can't seem to find an answer to this anywhere. I'm primarily an Android user. Does anyone know if I'll be able to connect my Android via Bluetooth to send/receive calls, but use an iPhone for CarPlay (maps, music, apps, etc at the same time?

I can't confirm it, but thats basically how other cars work that only support car play.
