TBH, I've never leased a vehicle so going with my co-worker as they discussed numbers was the first time for me. I remember the salesman talking him out of a leasing a Mustang and it was about the residual value. The saleman kept suggesting to go with a Focus ST instead. From what my co-worker told me, H1B1 have a very short period of time to find another job if they are let go or else they have to go back to their country of origin. He also chose to lease b/c of his limited credit and lower down payment as well.
Just for reference, the leases on Gladiators and Tacoma’s are very low because they have such high residuals.

Just for the heck of it I stopped into my local credit union this weekend to check rates and talk about financing for the Supra Launch edition I am hoping to get soon. While there they mentioned they now have lease rates available for the Supra . I was quoted for the launch edition with the driver assist package at MSRP, 36 months and 12000 miles per year (the lowest miles they do on a lease) with only tax down. The payment was 815 per month with excellent credit. The person providing the lease number was unsure of the buyout price at this time,, which of course could make a huge difference on if anyone would lease thru them or not. But it at least gives an idea what you could lease one for. Just some food for thought.

Leasing 2021 Supra! To be honest, I think it will definitely come true, well, at least I would very much like to. TOYOTA Supra is just a gorgeous car, very beautiful, fast, but very expensive, so not everyone can afford to buy such a car. What to do !? - you ask, and I will answer you there is one way out, called a mortgage, but before you get a mortgage you need to know where to do it better? I personally recommend that you go to the site - Mortgage Broker Cardiff and get a mortgage, as it will be much more profitable there than anywhere else. The specialists are at the highest level, so I definitely recommend it.

so did OP ever decide to lease?
I briefly considered leasing but the terms I was offered by most dealers were atrocious. The residuals they were assuming struck me as way, way too low. Seemed clear they were steering people toward purchasing at that point in time.

i find it can also depend on location. The dealerships around me within a 30 min drive were quoting me 1000$ a month for 3 year lease with 10k miles a year for 1500$ down.

A dealership 4 hours from me quoted me 600$ for an A91 for the exact same lease mileage and timeframe and same down payment.

I ended up purchasing as it just made sense for me, but the difference was wild.
