Next GT Sport Content Update Arrives March 5, Adds A90 Toyota GR Supra

OUTLINE OF THE GR SUPRA GT CUP ANNOUNCED
－WHO IS THE FASTEST SUPRA DRIVER?－

TOYOTA GAZOO Racing (TGR) announces the outline of the GR Supra GT Cup, that is the first global one-make race in the Gran Turismo Sport for PlayStation®＊1 4 (PS4®).

From this year, by involving e-motorsports as one of the pillars of TGR motorsports activities, we are actively working to make motorsports and sport cars more accessible and enjoyable across generations and around the world. We hope that many more Gran Turismo drivers will experience the GR Supra＊2 and that we can obtain their feedback and evaluation of the GR Supra, to enhance the real Supra in the coming years.

Event period April–October 2019
Event location Preliminary rounds: online, across the world (13 rounds)
Final: an event will be held at the Tokyo Motor Show in October (Tokyo)
Participation requirements Owner of the Gran Turismo Sport for PS4® and PS4® software and also a GR Supra owner on the Gran Turismo. Participants must be six years old or older＊3

1. ＊3 Under the laws of the participating countries, even if participants are in the top qualifying rounds online, those who are under the age of 13 years may not be able to participate in the final (real event).
