The z4 in 3.0 trim does not have a manual trans option. Only the 4cyl.

I'm betting a good manual trans was not built or tested and this is why we do not have it.

considering there was already a MT sitting on the shelf for the B58, which has been in use in the M240i, why would you believe otherwise...? Just plain and simple Toyota doesn't believe it is worth their time & money..

Still is a bad argument. There is a manual tranmission for the S63 4.4 V8 which makes 500+ ft-lb of torque. Same goes for the M3 which I had in manual form. It made over 400 ft lbs of torque.

My fav Supra will be a 4 cyl 6-Speed manual with a JB4. 150-200+lbs off the front axle, count me in.

I'm having dilemma now. 6cyl w better sound, better prestige, stupid amount of power capacity, or 4cyl with better weight and balance. Tough pick, this. My need says 4cyl, my want says 6cyl. Oh goddamit this is really hard.

For me this is a street car. 400hp is upper end of usable street power imo. Give me lower weight.

There will be no manual Supra 40i. Those who decide to wait will only die frustrated.

Are you certain of this? If so what is your source for this information?
I wouldnā€™t take what he says seriously. Heā€™s talking out of his ass as much as the people saying a manual is coming. No one knows except the people probably involved secretly

i spoke with their development team in the UK today

More cars are going to be manufactured now, however no manuals are on the horizon for at least the next 4 years (supposedly)

First of all, feel free to address me directly if you have any objections to what I say. Basic courtesy, you know.

Second, my ass has been correct throughout six years of reporting on Bimmerpost so you better learn to trust it.

i been following you for years. just a question not an attack. is the 4 banger still coming to the US, or has that been canned?

You have contributed nothing to the forum until now. No one knows who you are and I will completely object to anything you say since you have no evidence of proof of your "fact". You have speculation only.
