Why are they still using camo on the car? Everyone knows what it looks like already. It's not like the track version is getting different body panels...only more power.

Yup it sure does. The Supra is straight up competition for the C7 Stingray, Cayman S, and M2

I've never seen a 0-60 competition outside of a magazine or review video..

There was one that was done by this Swiss (German speaking) channel with the name of 7speed.ch, and they merely did a small sprint. The MkV Supra smashed the MkIV, though the MkIV was obviously a manual and the MkV is a crazy shifting 8-Speed automatic.

^That sounds like what @PerformanceSound has said about the current car being the equivalent to the NA turd MK4.
At least the current base MKV Variant is actually quite good as auto and easily modifiable. The old NA MKIV Auto was horrendous along with being slow. Only way to fix that car was bolt on turbos and a manual conversion which wasnt cheap.

I would never relate the current car to an A80 N/A unless we're talking Premium vs GRMN.

I think if I were to rank them it would be something like this (overall global models)
MKV Base 4cyl Auto = MKIV NA Auto
MKV Base 4cyl Manual = MKIV NA Manual
MKV Premium/Base 3.0 Auto = MKIV TT Auto
MKV Premium/Base 3.0 Manual (doesnt exist...yet) = MKIV TT 6 speed
MKV GRMN (probably limited production) = MKIV TT Widebody TRD

Something like that... Granted you cant really compare 25 year old cars to modern ones since the way cars are made and types of models is so different and we could have 20 variants of the MKV over the next 10 years.
