People are saying this is a BMW, yet when it's time to pay up people are saying who dafuk is going to pay 60k (with taxes) for a Toyota? Let's be realistic, outside of this group, who da hell is going to pay 60k for a two seater Toyota? I'll give it a year and I will be able to snatch one for 45k as I laugh at these fools at the dealership as I drive away.
It will also be racing in a year, so there's the offchance that Toyota uses that as a marketing tactic

Out of curiosity, I checked Autotrader Canada to see if anyone was listing the new supra. Unsurprisingly there were listings. A few of them listed at 89,000 CAD while others listed at 120,000 CAD. How disgusting.

They're crazy. They think they're sitting on a Cayman GT4. Nobody (in their right mind) will buy that.

What the fuck. Who do these guys think they are? They can die in the deepest ditch out there. I wouldn't even do that for the 718 Cayman GT4 or the C8 Corvette. Hell, I wouldn't pay that much for an Acura NSX or a Nissan GTR Nismo.

With that kind of money, I would buy a sexy Porsche 911 Turbo S, or an Audi R8 V10 Plus (or Performance), or a RWD Lamborghini Huracan Spyder.

Oh man, speaking of the NSX is there any car that is hurt more by the C8 Corvette than the NSX?

Literally every single car on the planet. Even SUV's are fucked. The C8 is that much of a knock out of the park. I can't stress this enough, GM literally outclassed everyone.

i just can't help but think that due to the price, there had to be some corners cut somewhere. despite liking the C8. i just am having a hard time with the price.

To be honest, same. There are times when I'm thinking if this is too good to be true. But god damn all of the initial signs are really good. You really can't get a more unbiased opinion from an automotive and racing enthusiast than that tbh.

And even if they did cut corners (which they probably did in some key areas), we can fix that with the aftermarket. It's still a 60-80k car. If you were to mod and fix the issues that could be prevalent and still not break the bank, while still destroying cars that are way more expensive than the Corvette? For a large mid-engine Ford GT-sized car that has around a 3.0 second 0-60 out of the gate? That's insane.

Most of the ones that are shelling out that kind of money are people that want to be the first on the block with the car to show it off or companies that need the car for R&D purposes.

I would think the aftermarket is waiting on the upcoming ZO6 with twin turbo V8, don’t know much or how much you can do with a NA 6.2. Of course can’t beat forced induction for mods.

$198,563....Dealers do this so their cars will show up on top of the listings of the .com sites. Dealer site says call for price.

Are the body panels still fiberglass? I have heard horror stories about past Vettes having cracks here and there.
