Exactly the C8 will have markups too. And I'm sure it's gonna be hard to find a totally base car at dealers.Yup, but to be fair when the C7 first showed up a lot of Chey dealers were also marking them up by 10-20k for the first year or so.
Sure, but we as consumers should feel a certain kind of way for a dealer to "buy" a car to keep for themselves at $4k under the MSRP then try to turn around and sell us the same car for $10-15k over MSRP. Basically making a entire Corolla in the process.Exactly the C8 will have markups too. And I'm sure it's gonna be hard to find a totally base car at dealers.
I have a dealer in my area offering the C8 for MSRP and you can build it however you want. There are plenty of Chevy dealers offering C8s for MSRP on the Corvette forum.Exactly the C8 will have markups too. And I'm sure it's gonna be hard to find a totally base car at dealers.
Hendrick is such an awesome dealer. They don't mess around with all the markups many other dealers do. There's a reason my family has bought so many cars from them, including my Supra. My local dealer (Hendrick Chevrolet) is selling the C8 at MSRP too. They seem much more prepared than the Toyota dealers where. I put down my C8 deposit at 11am the morning after the press event, and I was number 23 of 25 deposits that they are accepting.
I'm not 100% on not going Supra, but right now it seems that I would be able to get the C8 at MSRP sooner than the Supra.
Thanks I’ll have to look into it. I told them to skip as much dealer prep as possible and they were cool with it.Have the CF mirror caps removed. I did with my upcoming LE.
At this rate, my LE would be the only one without CF mirror caps lol.
