It may not be all that and a bag of chips.
It's a big car even bigger than the c7. It misses the wheelbase number. Going to be heavier than the c7 also. And how long has Tremec been in the Dct business.
Thing should kill a straight line though.

At roughly 182 inches I don't consider it a big car. That's shorter in length than a Q60. I don't consider that a big car either. The Ford GT and Lamborghini Aventador are several inches longer at 187-188 inches.

On the other hand, the Supra is also heavier than a C7 and at nearly 3400 pounds heavy for such a small car.

3372 is what the supra weighs in. Definitely not as light as should/could be. But It does have the wheelbase that all others seem to be comparing to. Which is the Porsche

The C8 will also have ADM at launch. It will disappear just as they will on the Supra.

No lsd unless you get the z51
Not true. Non-Z51 models have a mechanical LSD. Z51 models upgrade to a electronically-controlled LSD. Interestingly, if you add the FE4 (adjustable shocks) upgrade to the Z51 option, it includes a Performance Traction Management system too.

the C8's $59,999 MSRP is a bit misleading IMHO. go to the configurator; check the Z51 package (who drives a supercar with all seasons and no LSD??) and some other bits and its almost $85K. fully loaded its $111,862.

If you read the comments the poster says multiple times that he just made up the pricing. It becomes quite clear looking at the breakdown he is just throwing out nonsense pricing with overlapping options

On that note, the amount of available customization compared to the Supra is amazing.

It's amazing, and also a negative at the same time imo. Great to be able to choose colours, wheels, interiors etc, but it means that EVERYTHING becomes an at-cost option. You want red callipers? £500. Cruise control? £800. That awesome looking seats? £1500. It gets real expensive real quick. If for example the different coloured interior doesn't cost more then brilliant, but to have a low entry cost they will likely pile on the cost with options.

Porsche is the same, I specced a Cayman to the options the Supra comes with as standard, it came to about £19,000 in options. Sure if I got the choice I wouldn't have them all, but Toyota is going for that kind of thing now, sell them fully loaded with only a few options and sell it for the same as the competition before any options are added. Different interior colours and wheels would be a great addition, but having radar guided cruise and keyless entry etc as standard is good as it is.

Very true and since you've mentioned Porsche, that's exactly what comes to mind. IMO, it's a great thing to have individual items that you can add or delete and gives the buyer much more flexibility when building their car. I would have loved to have the Aero Kit, X-51 kit, Sport Chrono, Paint To Sample on my 911 but that's what makes Porsche that much more special as an "Exclusive Manufaktur".

In comparison to the packages/trim level that you have to upgrade in order to get that specific item with the Supra. Some owners may only want one item but are forced to pay for the other items since it's based on the trim level.

where did you see pricing. I've tried the configurator 10 times and it does not show any price for packages, etc..
