1st: My Launch Edition door panels don't both come in red. One came in red and the other side is black. I asked my dealer who asked the OEM and they said it's designed to be that way. Very strange. Maybe to mimic the GR badge coloring?

2nd: My hood and rear hatch were not properly gapped or fitted so a lot of adjustment and fine tuning were needed to make the trunk fully close flush and the hood to close on both sides flush. When it came from the factory it took A LOT of pressure on the passenger side to get the hood to latch. The PDI specialist for the dealer said the Toyota Tech told him that the hood would pull closed itself once closed but that doesn't seem to be happening.

3rd: No bumps? The rear subs seem useless to me. I turn up the bass on the system which I great. I got the JBL premium system but the subs aren't noticeable even when turned up. The sound however of the stereo is very good and very clean and loud.

4th: Car handles great but there is some body roll that I feel could easily be remedied with a set of performance sway bars. Overall the car feels amazing!

Just figured I'd share and see if any of you see or feel the same about yours. Still very very happy with my purchase.

I can only comment on #1: It was designed that way. All of the early photos just had the red on one side.

The red/black door parts are to further focus the driving zone from the passenger zone. Takes some inspiration from the FT1 design and cocoons the driver and focuses on the road. Or at least that's the thinking behind it as far as I'm aware...

Correct, the cockpit is designed to be a "slingshot" around the driver, and the colors around the driver are to be a separate color than the passenger side, as seen in this sketch:

wow 2nd point is annoying. There were some earlier discussions about gaps, we had hoped it would be better since it's Magna's facility..

To be fair they were easily fixed but did need attention.

How are the leds in the tail lights for being in line with each other. In all the photos it looks like the inner strip is lower that the outer

This is the purpose of PDI though and minor adjustments is rather common.
The difference here is that you got the car shortly after it being delivered to the dealership (whether it be a few days or hours) instead of it sitting on the lot for weeks or months like most new cars thus giving the dealership time to fix these things.

Now that's a driver focused interior!

Well, if you would of picked up your car a month ago, like you said you were, maybe you wouldn’t have these issues?
