That’s great news. I assume your tier 1 credit? I’m going through Toyota financial and was told I’m tier 1 picking up next week according to dealer daily

Actually I have dipped under what it used to be due to running multiple credit inquiries lately, but the dealer still worked with me to make it happen. The finance guy had an extra 1% he was able to get me under some lesser known programs Toyota offers the dealer (or at least that’s what I was told). If you want more detail we can talk more privately about it. Good luck with your upcoming purchase!

I was 2nd in line for the LE was was set to get it in early Aug at 10k over msrp in the Bay Area. I did not like the process and they could not get me the vin number so I was not exactly happy. Yesterday I went in and got my deposit back so hopefully the next person in line will get the LE. I changed my mind due to 2 reasons. 1. I was not happy if the lack of information on my LE. 2. The C8 corvette just announced and I really liked it and will wait for it. I put 5k deposit on the C8 at msrp which was in the contract. Hope the best for all Supra owners.

As high as the markups are right now they seem to be dropping week by week. I imagine these cars will be going for MSRP by the time the regular models come out next month.

I've been getting completely dicked around by Toyota of Seattle. Beware that no matter who you talk to up there, nobody knows their head from their ass.

One guy contacted me saying they have 2 coming in, 1 launch and 1 blue premium (I really want blue), and that the premium might get a slight discount just to get it on the road right away (weird, I know). I said I'll take it. Dude said he needs to talk to his manager to figure out how to do a sale before the car lands and someone else will call me right away. I never hear from anyone and can never reach the person who called me.

I call the dealership and ask for that sales person and he is not available. The guy who answers the phone says every Supra everywhere will have a huge markup because there are only going to be 1,500 made worldwide. I end the call with him because he clearly has no idea.

I emailed their general sales address asking someone to just please give me a real price on the car so we can finalize the deal. Their sales manager emails saying he will call me within the hour. 2.5 hours pass and I miss his call by 30 seconds. I immediately called back and nobody answered. His message says that he thinks the first guy was confused about the differenced between the launch and premium, but he will call me again later in the day and we can workout a deal. 3 days have gone by and he hasn't called or responded to emails, and never picks up his phone when I call.

TL:DR, If you are in Seattle you are probably best to go somewhere else., and I'm probably going to have to stick with my reservation of whatever random color/trim level comes in.

Stopped in my local dealer last night, been stopping once a week just to see one. Still didn't have one, said there's would be in in a couple days and still available. I said how much, they said 10k over MSRP told them no chance, he came back at 5 over, I offered 3k over he said yes. Was very surprised, landed this morning #344.

It could be worse. Your dealer could be advertising a Downshift Blue Launch Edition...

I'm curious about something... If I wanted to buy the new MKV, do I have to order it through a dealer or can I order directly through Toyota? With all the crazy markups with certain dealers, I figured it would make more sense to order it myself?

Anyone looking for a Red LE at MSRP? PM me and I will give you details. I decided to not take my car due to some issues that popped up.

I saw that too! Almost wanted to call and see how far they would take it. Every dealer in this area is really clueless about the Supra, which is sad.

Issues with the car or something else? Just want to know if there is something I should be keeping an eye out for when I go to pickup.
