If anyone is looking for a Premium with Driver Assist Package, Turbulence Grey and willing to pay the $10K ADM, there is one in Newport News, VA.

I don't work for the dealership.

Thereā€™s a down shift blue in mechanicville.

I am curious to see that color in person
Thought I was convinced on my initial choice of Phantom Matte Grey until I saw the Turbulence Grey. After seeing it in person I think it truly shows off the flowing line of the Supra.

I'll just wait patiently until my order from another local dealer comes in.

So I took a look at the gray 3.0 Premium at Pearson in Newport News VA this afternoon. Interestingly, the Toyota window sticker says "Ice Gray" which is either a goofup or some kind of typo since I am pretty sure it's Turbulence Gray as we all know it. The port prints out those stickers so it's not a dealer mistake. Anyhow, the color looks beautiful and shows off the lines of the car, and is also light enough that I think it will be easy to live with. This color would be on my list for sure.

They had a $10K markup on the window sticker. However, on AutoTrader, they show the car with a $3800 discount below MSRP. Not kidding:

If somebody knows how to make Virginia consumer laws work in their favor they could probably hold the dealer to this advertised price. It would be worth a try (just do your homework first). I'd probably go in there to buy the car and then when agreeing on the deal, bring up the Autotrader page on a laptop and get them to honor that price. Again, knowing Virginia laws would be key. I know there are certain regulations about honoring advertised prices. I am sure once the dealer realizes their mistake they will correct the Autotrader listing, so act fast if you are interested in this car.

The other odd thing is that they had the car roped off with "no touch" signs, however the car was not well detailed and was really dirty on one side with marks from the shipping wrap. Either they didn't actually wash the car or they did a half ass job and completely forgot to do one side. I found it ironic that they have it roped off in a showroom with a dealer markup yet it's dirty. Classy operation there. On the plus side, nobody harassed me, which is nice for a change.

That colour is known as Ice Grey Metallic in the European market so probably just what came in from the factory and they didn't re-write it to the US spec?

Either way, nice photos! Crazy they didn't clean it properly though.

The Ice Grey color name on the factory invoice is strange.
Also strange is the VIN number.
I thought the "L" in the VIN meant launch edition. Or am I mistaken?

Sorry - I see that the L means 2020 model year.

Those stickers were not even on the car when I viewed it. They told me they literally pulled the protective film off, gave it a quick bubble bath and rinse and pulled it into the showroom. Nice car, but not at that price. I wish them luck.

Hey!! I'm looking to swap for this specific one with my dealer here in FL by end of next week. Hopefully nobody hops on it lol. I talked to the manager last night at Pearson about this Supra. I don't wanna drive up there to trade my car in and drive back.. too much of an undertaking.

I actually found by the autotrader ad which was way off. Interesting point with the laws.

If you get in a pinch feel free to let me adopt your Supra temporarily -- I promise it will have a good home and I won't put more than 20-30 miles on it per day ;). Although I am tight on garage space right now so it will have to spend nights in the barn with my Kubota tractor (which I guess is more Japanese than the Supra).
