/sigh the good old āthe C8 is only $5,000 more!ā myth. No. The base models differ in price by $10,000, and the upper end models differ by much, much more. That alone ruined this article for me. I think that you could probably find evidence of a C8 somewhere where folks were unwilling to pay over sticker for it since so many dealerships are offering it at MSRP. Does that make it a failure? That doofus Rob or whatever his name was that rents out exotic cars and was trying to rent out the GR Supra for close to $400 a day mentioned the same thing about this auction. I think it just comes down to why would anyone pay over MSRP at this point when there are so many at MSRP options. Unless youāre the Stradman (who paid $10k over) or Omi in a Hellcat (who paid around $30k over) and wanted to be one of the first YouTubers to post about the car for views, thereās 0 reason to pay over the sticker price at this point, whether for a Supra or a C8.

Ah who cares did anyone here really buy their Supra to make it a garage QUEEN. The car is just too much fun and value for the dollar is right on. And if Toyota didnāt have the BMW opportunity then this would be a 70k plus product due to R/D and not enough volume to get their investment back. Another auto journalist writing an article to save his weekly quota.
And I have many options of cars and the Supra aināt no FLOP!!!
