I have been reading up on this turbo for a few weeks now, and all reviews have been very positive. I know Garrett turbo's in general are fantastic turbo's. However, for the G25-660's (or 550's) size, efficiency, and spooling characteristics....this should do very well in the aftermarket. I wonder if any tuner shops (or even Garrett) are experimenting with this turbo for the MKV Supra? I would LOVE to see this turbo on a MKV Supra.

Your thoughts?

Garrett's G-Series turbochargers work extremely well and are quite possibly one of the most efficient off-the-shelf turbochargers on the market. We have experience with a few different variations, as well as have been in direct contact with Garrett over the past 12 months or so in regards to utilizing one/some of these turbochargers with our product line(s). With that being said, we as a manufacturer are faced with a few problems considering the G-Series lineup. These turbochargers feature rather wide wheels, which increases difficulty when trying to offer a drop-in upgrade option. The next potential issue is price-point; with the G-Series line already being on the higher end of the price spectrum, it can be difficult to bring an attractively priced turbo upgrade to the market, especially if a custom turbine housing/manifold needs to be implemented. However, we do still plan to look into this to decide what best fits our business and the community's needs. We love seeing these types of threads and input to grasp what the general public wants! :)

Nice!!! I am very anxious to see the development of this turbo with the A90 platform.

I too am planning on getting a G-series turbo for my STI because of it's size. Rotated setup's are not always an easy deal with the EJ's as most people make them out to be....but the smaller a turbo is, the easier. With what Garrett has accomplished with the the G-series in terms of the performance-to-size ratio, it is definitely a winner.

Thanks for the heads up, and please keep us posted on future developments of these turbo's on the A90 Supra's.

Btw, I want one of your EJ25 Air Pump Delete kits....:D.
