The weather in Florida this time of year is really not ideal for 1/4 mile drag racing. DA was definitely above 1500ft with the humidity and heat. It could easily shave off a couple of tenths if this was done in winter which would also explain the relatively low numbers on the dyno pulls from them and other shops in FL as well.

It’s probably around 90-100 degrees right now with humidity at 100% as well.

I don't know if that's going to happen. They already tuned it.
That car has not been tuned. Only modification was removing the air filter and lower tire pressure. It now has Mickey Thompsons, but stock ECU.

Damn. I should try to get out to the track before I tune her. See if I can get close to these numbers

Already doing 11.48@118mph with downpipe/tune/tires

I believe this car also had a meth kit installed mentions it in the video.

Getting faster every day it seems I like that and this isn't even a "drag car" lol. I think that's a pretty good time too for the mods and track temp, I ran a 11.8 at 118 only mod being drag radials in my 2016 6th Gen SS before the super charger (so 460 crank hp have dual mode) this modded MKV is definitely making some nice power.

I can't wait to line up with a MKV at the local drag strip (also looking to pick one up once the dealer madness dies down a bit).

Very happy for the boost/increased interest in the sports car segment and the community that this car seems to have provided as it was greatly needed.

The PetrolWorks MKV did 130 mph with downpipe + tune and kept right up with Stangmode's E85 A10 GT at 133 mph (he usually runs around mid 11s @ 120s at ATCO with that car I go to the same track in NJ but I think he hit a 10.9 once at Cecil drag way hence 10 sec car). So that lines up nicely as Real St ran an 11.4@118 and AMS ran 11.6@120 with similarly modded MKVs.

Keeping up with a 2018+ GT with the A10 isn't an easy task these days (strait line performance) those cars are runners for sure and the new Coyotes are monsters (500 rwhp NA with E85 and a few boltons) so this is a good spot to be in this early in the game.

Just for reference I ran a 145 mph with my 6th gen SS at this event Pocono Slipstream last year with a wet track (raining on/off but they still got the event off).

PetrolWorks has some really fast cars at those events (very fun btw) and I'm sure their MKV will be one of them soon enough.
