Horn Question / Replaced ‘Clown Car’ Horn

Does anyone have a solution to the horrible horn we got stuck with?

You'd probably be looking at 2 parts to change out. Hell, look at any other Toyota model horn parts. I'm sure it'd be super easy to switch out. Usually a low pitch and High pitch horn at least from my manufacturing experience.

Look in the BMW catalog and get the macho dual horns from the Z4. For whatever reason, the Supra did not get these and instead got a clown horn.

I barely use it lol. But when I do I want people to take me seriously lol

Almost all cars have two horns as TheDude said. If you only have one horn, regardless of low pitch or high pitch, it will sound like a clown horn. It's hard to believe that the Supra would have only one (clown) horn.
Does anybody have an A90 with a dual normal sounding horn?
Maybe the delayed LE's are being held back to correct this glaring omission.

pure speculation: because of all the EU noise restrictions, maybe horns were also affected?

Trip to a BMW scrap yard would be in order. I'm assuming not all BMWs sound like the shitty supra horn

I haven't had the chance but anyone check what horn is in there supra physically. And what is listed in the parts catalogue/parts ordering from the dealer (thats what should be in the car). Maybe they missed something while assembling it.

Only a single horn.... that's messed up...

Would it be hard to swap the one from the z4?

Hello. Just curious if anyone was planning on upgrading their horn. It definitely is lacking. I know it’s some what of a silly gripe but I’d like to hear any thoughts.

there have been several reviewers that have commented that it is the worst horn they have ever heard. I will say that I laughed when I heard it the first time lol

Can't be worse than the STI horn lol. People upgrade theirs all the time.
