Launch delivery Monday at 10am. Wife snapped pic while getting every angle I could, looking at the car sitting all pretty waiting for me through the glass window.

You know that the East Coast is more lit than the West Coast!

My two local Connecticut dealers had their LEs for weeks now - back to end the of July. Both got red, and both are now sold. The dealer I bought from actually got the black Premium I picked up before the LE even sold. Are other east coast dealers really getting them that much later? Maybe our proximity to NYC helped?

Picked it up Saturday and hauled it back
Wow you are brave to put that beautiful car on a U-haul trailer! Those things are sketchy as hell, plus they are so short it's almost impossible to get the right tongue weight on the tow vehicle.

Ohh trust me, it was hell getting it onto the trailer. Car was a lot lower than i expected and I didn't take any tools or extra lumber with me. Ended up using their concrete pad that had a drop off to the parking lot. Was able to drive straight onto it without any incline. But ran into another issue where front lip was too low for the front of the trailer where the front tires would be resting against. Had to rig up a ramp to raise the front end to clear.

I would say that the Uhaul trailer did the job, but wish it had more hooks to strap the car down better.

Yea, unless they are LE models the Premium and Base models are arriving at port in the east coast on 8/12 and should be in the hands of the dealers ready to be sold a two-three weeks later.

I'm from MA and have my VIN, and my Black Premium arrived at port this past Monday (8/12). My dealer stated they are going to make a note to see if they can expedite delivery of my car as early as they can. So I am expecting to be picking mine up last week of August to first week of September assuming normal delivery times.

Cheers,
-V

I can imagine -- low sports cars are a PITA for trailering. I was going to take my 7x16 trailer to pickup my M2 Comp but I did some math with approach angles/etc and figured it would be trouble and I might end up damaging the car. I would have needed an assortment of blocks and then play around with it in the busy dealer parking lot. Seemed like a potential disaster from the get go.

Sometimes with these trailers you can back on, both to deal with clearance issues and to improve the weight distribution for better tongue weight. Back the rear of the car on the ramps, then place blocks for the front wheels to help lift the lip. Need a helper to watch carefully. Not a one-man operation by any means.

Good job for making it home in one piece!

Ours probably travelled together!

Mine also landed 8/12 and my dealer (Central KY) is expecting late August for delivery.

Congrats!

Wooo congrats! Can't wait to pick mine up!

Early September is still pretty good up here in NE, which means I will have a few good months to drive this before locking it up in the garage during winter!

Bro..I am still waiting mine premium turbulence grey and I am going crazy now. Location in NJ. I heard some got theirs but most like the rest of us....

I want to have my first real impression on the car when I get mine..
I don't think rest got their premium in the east coast. I'm hoping people would get their supras more in NJ/NY area because mine gets way too many attention and I get anxiety whenever I park it. So far I haven't seen any launch editions out in North Jersey area. I'm really hoping the hype would kind of die down later. The hype was fun for 3 days, but after 3 days it gets old.
