Is that what the akrapovic sounds like? All I'd been able to find were vids with music playing over the exhaust note.

I hope you’re right! A70TTR’s news of no manual on the GRMN I wish weren’t the case but I do get it considering it’s that model variant and its track focus (although if a manual GRMN did happen I’d be very happy with that).

If we at least get a strong manual gearbox option on any other I-6 turbo 3.0L Supra trim level with a minimum of the current horsepower and torque output I’ll be happy. As is it’s a great car.

Again, I don't know which trim will have it or date of release, but I was told that a manual will come. When I asked why is Toyota considering a manual in this market crowded with successful auto's/dct's/dsg's/etc.. the response I got was:

"The manual will not be a hot seller compared to the auto. They will sell, no denying that but I don't think they will make up the bulk of the sales as compared to the auto's. Not because no one likes manuals, but because I believe the upcoming "aggressively-tuned" auto's will be unbeatable in terms of performance times. Not going into much details, but I believe that the manuals will be aimed more at the "touring" enthusiast and not so much the "track" enthusiast."

THe ff...i called one of the yotas dealerships here in NJ and they have yellow premium at the show room for 85 grand

yeah, check out the press release for the GT4 program and they detail their homologation partners - one of whom is Akrapovic.

I really like how it sounds. I think I found the exhaust I want, so long as it's a full exhaust, and not just the muffler.

It's also Ti which adds significant cost... and awesome sound.

Found a red LE for a friend in a matter of 10 minutes of phone calls, #57 car at msrp in NY. These BMWs are not selling well, all 1500 of these cars should have be presold. Dealers asking one penny over msrp are delusional.

Just wait 4 more months until rebates come out on these things.

Some dealers were not taking deposits. We also had a number of them canceling people's orders whether it was so that the dealer could buy the 1st one or to start a bidding war. It also didn't help that the delivery process was a nightmare. I think it's still too early to make a call on that. We'll have a better idea when we have a full years of sales in.

So last month they sold 320 Zupras in 10 days, not too bad imo. Yeah the delivery process was something else. Why do some dealers don't even have their LE yet, but others have one or more premium models?

320 cars over 1200 US dealers... dunno seems like asking over msrp for the cars was a shit plan few benefited from. Who wants to bet the sales people who sold the cars got a low flat commission? I get not every dealer allocated one but 320 cars is nothing in retail car sales.

Yes, but like you said not all Toyota stealerships even have their Zupras yet. Of course asking over MSRP will kill/slow sales of any car. Again, all we have numbers for is 10 days worth of sales. Let's wait for the full picture.

I 110% will never pay a markup on any car. I’ll travel to go pick one up if another dealer has below msrp. I’m still in the waiting game myself for that better deal, I’m sure with others.

Let’s see if this doesn’t hurt the car long term.
