Just thought I would share this -
Have three kids - 11, 9 and 3 years old. All of them are soon to be 12, 10 and 4. Love the family life and my wife is awesome. But I forgot how much I love cars over the last 10 years. Not that I have ever had anything incredible - But I have always enjoyed a nice looking car, decent performance and reading\research and talking to other enthusiasts.
I was looking at used 911's (Non-Turbo) for the last 2 years (maybe 3 years) and was going to buy a 2006-2011 one day - eventually... someday... hopefully....maybe....possibly.
I remember about 2 years ago I was driving thru a shopping center near me - Both of my daughters in my car. I saw a white Supra Turbo MKIV parked. I stopped and backed up and took pictures. They thought I was nuts and were like what is wrong with Dad? LOL
The new Supra came along - I made the mistake of going to see one in person. I was sold - and on a mission to find a LE. I have always been a Supra fan.. and generally lean toward technologically advanced engines vs large displacement.
With the help of this forum I was able to find a Red LE at MSRP a few hours away.
It is so awesome to drive something fun again that isn't filled with kid crap and crumbs even though I just cleaned it. Its also incredible to drive and look at.
Nice to be back in the car world again!!!
